paranormal poetry

As I was going up the stair
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
Oh how I wish he'd go away

Mary had a lamb
with eyes as black as coal
it's teeth gleam red in the moonlight
now Mary's missing a foal.

Ring around the full moon
Servants of a fanged loon
vampryres, vampyres
The world falls down.

Friendly Creatures

Joe and his chair were meowing to school when a furry desk suddenly appeared in front of them. It ran up his leg and climbed into his pocket. The soft creature poked its head out and looked around awkwardly. The couches baked at the sight in amazement. Few had ever seen a foot trying to gaze in someone's pocket before.

Joe and his bob were fishing to school when a loud TV suddenly appeared in front of them. It ran up his leg and climbed into his pocket. The disruptive creature poked its head out and looked around mockingly. The bunches meowed at the sight in amazement. Few had ever seen a bed trying to jump in someone's pocket before.

Joe and his cat were walking to school when a scruffy rat suddenly appeared in front of them. It ran up his leg and climbed into his pocket. The dirty creature poked its head out and looked around grossly. The teachers stared at the sight in amazement. Few had ever seen a rat trying to eat in someone's pocket before.

self and other stories

This world is a wary place

If one had a choice, would they always choose life?

I think maybe seven times out of ten

Depending on what kind of day one is having

And who is asking the question

Who can ask that question?

Oh, yes

Only the self

That little niggling piece that likes

To confuse

And hide

The place where love blossoms

And hatred burns

The place where the well of tears is drawn on

By the keeper of sorrows

It might be that spot in the chest

Or just behind the eyes

It could be in the centre of the brain

That dot in the middle

Where stress makes an ache

It might even be in the fists

That shake of their own accord

And hang limply at the sides

And wipe away tears

Tears

Little diamonds of water

Salty and sweet

Rolling slowly down beautiful cheeks

Sometimes taking forever to come

Breaking self out of the numb shell

That it likes to hide in

Whenever too many things happen at once

Self just kinda disappears

And all feeling is sucked out through a bendy straw

Sometimes all energy too

Leaving only a

Dim

Limp

Empty

Casement

Which once held the soul

The soul

Is that where the self lives?

How would one know for certain?

Where is the soul?

One feels the soul react in the chest

But that might be the simple, knee-jerk

The reaction to the surroundings

but how shall one know?

I never willl, of that I 'm sure.

I need to know

What is this?

What is Death?
I want a solid answer,
but lacking that,
 opinioins will do

What is Life?
is it just our atoms having energy to move?
i wnt an answer,
any answer,
just so I can pretend I know

What is hate?
not the reactions,
not the yelling,
or the consequences
Deep down , what is it?

What is Love?
is it any more real than hate?
is it just the by-product of endorphins and other chemicals in the blood?
I just need to know

...
will there be an answer?
